What does it do?

This addon streamlines your material management by:

1. Removing numeric suffixes from material names (e.g., "Wood.001" becomes "Wood")
2. Replacing duplicate materials with their base versions
3. Consolidating duplicate material slots on objects
4. Removing unused material slots from objects (optional)
5. Cleaning up unused materials

How to Use:

1. Install the addon
2. Select the objects you want to optimize
3. Go to the 3D Viewport > Sidebar > Tool tab
4. Click the "Optimize Materials" button, and that's it!
